Our menu is inspired by the journeys of Levente and Sándor around the world.
They’ve travelled the globe, from Peru to Japan, across Europe, and infused this experience into the very heart of 42. Within a single night at our table, we’ll take you along on these travels.
The first part of the menu is about discovery and inspiration.
The second half pays homage to classic fine dining.
And the finale is all about the celebration of life.
Levente began his career at Hungary’s first Michelin-starred restaurant.
His journey then took him to England, where he worked at the two Michelin-starred (now three-starred) The Ledbury, and later honed his skills in French cuisine at Pied à Terre.
In 2019, he competed in the San Pellegrino Young Chef competition and was awarded the title of Best Young Chef in Central Europe.
At the world finals, he placed among the top ten chefs globally.
At most restaurants, the owner remains in the background. But not at 42.
Sándor is a globally recognized figure in the world of fine dining, known for his YouTube channel with over 400,000 subscribers.
Through his channel, he showcases the world’s finest restaurants. He has travelled the globe and dined at over 150 Michelin-starred establishments.
